This is Just to Say...

This is the cat I’m probably getting tomorrow. He’s hideously underweight and he was so matted they had to shave him. I’m looking forward to making him look healthier and more like the Turkish Angora mix he is.

Does anyone think it’s weird that I inquired about this cat (at Petsmart, where he wasn’t being shown) and a lady called me back and told me she would meet me outside of Petsmart tomorrow, and that essentially she had to make a bit of a trip to do it? I think I want the cat, but I’ve never met him. I think I’ve already been suckered into getting him. He hasn’t been tested for leukemia, so I made an appointment to get him tested ($40 I think?) immediately after I pick him up. So, I’m pretty invested.

I basically went in to ask about him and they arranged for me to adopt this cat.  I guess rescue agencies have to try to get the cat in people’s hands as quickly as possible because they will be less likely to say no. I’m a sucker, so I doubt I’ll say no.
