and it’s pretty good! My favorite part? Predictably, Jane Lynch. Though, as a JL fan from way back—admittedly only because of my undying obsession with all Christopher Guest movies—I find her character, Constance, so refreshing. It’s not Sue MF Sylvester, or Mrs. Terry Bohner (who is kinda sweet) or closeted Christy Cummings from Best in Show. SHe’s just really sweet, super positive, super girly (not a common thing for her as an actress) and really wonderful.
It’s funny because I go into something with her in it expecting that acerbic, hilarious and sometimes abrasive comedic style. It’s odd to be expecting that and see something softer instead. At first I thought she was doing a parody, but really it’s just an entirely different kind of person.
I don’t know. Is anyone even watching this show? If not, it’s on Netflix instant, and pretty fun!
